1 dead, juvenile injured in North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – One person is dead following a Saturday afternoon shooting in North Charleston.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) responded to the area of Bailey Drive and Dorchester Road around 4:10 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

A man was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds when officers arrived at the scene.

Police said a juvenile was also shot and wounded. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
