Deputies arrest 3 teens in Cambridge apartment shooting incident

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Dorchester County deputies have arrested three teens in connection to a May 2 shooting that left one man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Zamauri Tyren Vashaun Brown, 19, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharging a firearm into a vehicle.

Khamari Lavon Sease, 17, is charged as an adult with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and discharging a firearm into a vehicle.

A 16-year-old is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and discharging a firearm into a vehicle.

Investigators say one of the suspects was speaking to the victim, identified as Tyreke Jarell Giles, 20, in the parking lot of the apartment complex when the shooting began. 

Witnesses from the leasing office heard the gunshots and called 911. When deputies arrived, they began life-saving measures for Giles, including CPR. 

Giles was taken to a local hospital, where he continues to recover. 

The sheriff’s office said several eyewitness statements were vital in the investigation. The Summerville Police Department assisted in the investigation.
