Charleston PD looking to identify suspect in parking garage robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Detectives are working to identify a suspect in a downtown strong-arm robbery.

According to the Charleston Police Department, the incident happened Sunday in a parking garage on Wentworth Street near Saint Philip Street.

Police said the suspect stole the victim’s purse while she was walking in the parking garage.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have information regarding the suspect’s identity should contact Charleston Police by calling 843-720-2422 and ask to speak with the on-duty central detective.
