Mother’s Day stroll at Second Sunday on King Street
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A perfect afternoon for a Mother’s Day stroll along King Street, browsing local shops, viewing art, and indulging in local food vendors.
The City of Charleston closes King Street every second Sunday from Queen Street to Calhoun Street for five hours each month so people can stroll the entire roadway without vehicles or parked cars.
It is a great opportunity to explore the local shops and restaurants in Charleston – and maybe even find a last-minute gift for mom.
Second Sunday on King Street will be held from noon through 5 p.m.
