Lowcountry restaurants with special Mother’s Day menus

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – As Mother’s Day approaches this weekend, some restaurants have designed special menus to cater to those who plan to take their mothers out for brunch.

Need a few ideas? Here’s a list of restaurants in the Lowcountry that will have special Mother’s Day menus.

Iron Rose

Iron Rose Bar and Restaurant will hold a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet on Sunday with an array of breakfast and child-friendly foods.

The menu includes breakfast pastries, french toast, a smoked salmon station a kids buffet and much more. The restaurant will seat guests from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pricing is set at $75 per person and $35 per child. The Iron Rose is located at 115 Meeting Street in Charleston

Middleton Place

Enjoy Mother’s Day brunch and stroll through America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens at Middleton Place.

The menu includes an omelet station, prime rib carving station, beignets, a kids menu and much more. Service will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., seating will be first come first serve.

Middleton Place says General Admission is required for the brunch. Middleton Place is located at 4300 Ashley River Rd in Charleston.

Swamp Fox

Swamp Fox Restaurant and Bar will serve a three-course Mother’s Day Brunch. Highlights from the menu include she-crab soup, cinnamon roll pecan pancakes, blue crab quiche and a dreamsicle pana cotta.

The brunch menu will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pricing is set at $48 per person and $20 for children 12 and under.

Swamp Fox is located at 387 King Street in Charleston.

Copper House

Copper House is hosting a Mother’s Day dinner that will satisfy steak and seafood enthusiasts. Its menu includes filet mignon, snow crab legs and turtle cheesecake. Copper House will also have its regular menu available.

Copper House is located at 8633 Old State Rd in Holly Hill.

SoCo Grille

SoCo Grille will have both a Mother’s Day brunch buffet and a supper buffet. The brunch menu will feature peaches and cream French toast as well as Maine lobster benedict. The supper menu will include a carving station, chicken penne pasta, and a dessert display.

SoCo Grille will have its Mother’s Day menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pricing is set at $34 for adults and $16 for kids ten and under. Kids 2 and under eat free.

SoCo Grille is located at 619 Front St in Georgetown.
