North Charleston Police investigating after Walmart robbery

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — An individual robbed a Walmart in North Charleston on Monday, according to police. 

Officers said they responded to a Walmart on Dorchester Road in the afternoon after receiving reports of a robbery. A witness told police the suspect went to the money center and showed an employee a note. 

Afterward, the employee opened the money drawer, and the suspect jumped over the counter, grabbed the money, and left, Harve Jacobs, an NCPD spokesperson, said. 

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
