Deputies investigating after 1 shot at Cambridge Apartments

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Dorchester County are investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting.

Law enforcement officials said one person was shot at the Cambridge Apartments off Orangeburg Road.

The person’s condition is unknown. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A motive for the shooting is not yet known.

Deputies ask that residents stay inside their apartments while they search for a suspect.
