Charleston weather today: Sunshine and warm weather

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – It was a nice weekend, and that forecast won’t change much into the new work week.

Expect plenty of sunshine on Monday with temperatures warming into the low 80s across much of the Lowcountry, according to Storm Team 2.

Meteorologist Josh Marthers said high pressure is in control for the majority of the week. Overall dry conditions are forecast with limited rain chances.

Marthers said there is a slight risk of rain on Wednesday.

Temperatures will remain above normal with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s for much of the week.
