North Charleston PD investigating Stall Road homicide

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police in North Charleston are investigating a Thursday night homicide.

Officers responded to an address on Stall Road around 10:00 p.m. after receiving a call regarding the sound of gunshots.

When police arrived, they learned that an armed robbery occurred and were informed that the suspects ran from the scene, heading toward nearby Fassitt Road.

Officers learned one of the victims chased after the suspects and believed they went into a Fassitt Road residence.

North Charleston officers responded to the original scene and observed a bullet hole in a mobile home. While checking on the residents, an unresponsive male was found lying in bed with an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
