Fallen tree closes lanes on Johns Island roadway

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – A fallen tree has closed lanes on a Johns Island roadway.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said eastbound lanes of Betsy Kerrison Parkway are closed due to a fallen tree.

Deputies are currently on the scene.

They are not sure how long it will take until the roadway reopens. Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.
