NCPD arrests second suspect in Christmas Eve homicide off Windsor Hill Blvd

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The North Charleston Police Department announced they have arrested a second suspect in a Christmas Eve homicide that occurred at an apartment complex off Windsor Hill Blvd.

NCPD Spokesman Harve Jacobs said detectives arrested a 15-year-old boy who is charged with murder and attempted armed robbery. He is currently held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.

Police responded to reports of a shooting right before 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 24. On arrival, authorities found the victim, identified as Devin Ramsey, 23, shot to death in a vehicle in the apartment’s parking lot.

This is the second suspect NCPD has arrested in connection to the deadly shooting.

Detectives previously arrested a 16-year-old suspect on Jan. 4, who is also charged with murder and attempted armed robbery.

The North Charleston Police Department is investigating this case.
