Deputies investigating Johns Island shooting

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting on Johns Island.

Deputies responded to Mary Ann Point and Harry Wilson after receiving reports of shots fired around 11:50 a.m.

Officials say a gunshot victim was taken to a local hospital. A vehicle was also struck.

Authorities are actively looking for the suspect.
