Grace Laws Grabs SoCon Defensive Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference (SoCon) today announced freshman goalkeeper Grace Laws (Asheville, N.C. / A.C. Reynolds) as its Defensive Player of the Week. Laws won the first two starts of her career this weekend, pitching a shutout in her debut start with a 3-0 win over USC Upstate Friday, then holding down the net in the Bulldogs’ 4-2 come-from-behind win at Presbyterian Sunday.
