Rob on The City

Laugh, listen to classic music and wake up at 6AM with radio vet Rob Duren!

On the radio in Virginia Beach beginning in ’87, Rob moved to Charleston in July of ’90 to play the somewhat sane half of The Rob & Edd Radio Network on 98 Rock.  In the mid 90’s, Rob wrote and produced The Windham Brothers Morning Show on the Breeze Radio Network. In 1999, and for the next 7 years, Rob was the Production Manager for a cluster of six Clear Channel radio stations. He won the South Carolina Broadcaster’s Association award for large market radio ads five times in those seven years.  Since 1994, Rob has been involved in the Charleston theater scene as both an actor and sound designer.  Performing in local theater was where he met Liz, his beautiful wife of 16 years. They have two wonderful children, two other children and reside in Mount Pleasant. Their passion?  Keeping their kids on their toes and constantly guessing! (All 4 kids are equally GREAT!)
